Water front homes, average sales price and number of transaction since 2002. The average price has gone from $820,000 to $1,408,800. In 2007 there were several large sales that greatly increased the average sales price. 2008 was the least number of sales in decades.

This chart shows the average price sold for home on acreage, more than 4 acres. The average price sold in 2008 was much lower, but there were very few transactions which effects the average.

This chart shows the average price sold for a home on San Juan Island on less than 4 acres of land. This would include homes in the town of Friday Harbor but would NOT include any waterfront homes.
